Free-agent running back Reggie Bush is heading to Buffalo after accepting a one-year, incentive-laden deal the Bills.
The Bills need some depth at the position after Karlos Williams was suspended for the first four games of the season. Rookie Jonathan Williams could also be suspended by the NFL after he was arrested on DUI charges.
Veteran and Super Bowl-winning rusher Bush is coming off a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) after slipping last November on concrete at the Edward Jones Dome in St Louis. The injury was feared to be career-ending, and Bush, 31 and entering his 11th NFL season, sued the city.
"I've been in talks with a few teams and I felt like Buffalo was the best opportunity for me," Bush told Buffalobills.com.

"I'm just looking forward to getting out here. I'm excited to play for Rex Ryan and I know a few guys on the team and they had a lot of great things to say about him and the team as well. So I'm looking forward to getting on the field."
Bush played in just five games last year for the San Francisco 49ers, accumulating only 28 rushing yards on eight carries with four receptions for 19 yards. His last 1,000-yard season was in 2013, his first of two seasons with the Detroit Lions after a two-year stint in Miami.
The New Orleans Saints selected Bush with the second overall pick of the 2006 NFL Draft. He never rushed for more than 581 yards in any of his five seasons with the Saints, but was dangerous as a receiving option out of the backfield and as a return man. He led the NFL with three punt returns for touchdowns in 2008. He also had a punt return in the 2009 playoffs as the Saints were on their way to a Super Bowl championship.
Bush was used as a punt returner last season for the first time in four years, but had just two returns for a total of nine yards.
For his career, Bush has 5,493 rushing yards with 35 touchdowns, 470 receptions for 3,508 yards and 18 scores and has four punt returns for touchdowns.
