Kwesi Appiah to invest in a solar manufacturing company

The coach of the Ghana Black Stars along with his business partners are to set up a solar manufacturing plant in Ashaiman

The two business groups which are both Ghanaian owned businesses based in USA and Germany announced this after they ended discussions with the Ashaiman Municipal Chief Executive, Albert Boakye Okyere and some staff of the Assembly.

The solar project is supported by the German government and is set to create jobs for 500 young people in Ashaiman where €14.5m facility will be located.

Speaking to Oman FM, the President of Palmer Group Company, George Palmer reiterated that the objective of factory is to produce solar panels for both domestic and industrial purposes

He also added the groups were also going to set up a whole training facility which will train the youth in solar panel fabrication as well as putting up marketing and service center to offer 24 hour services.

The coach of the Black Stars has been involved in two noble courses this year as he has earlier set up a foundation which are aid retired sports personalities.
