Eleven weightlifters from the 2012 London Olympic Games, six of whom were medalists, have failed doping tests following reanalysis of their samples.
Russian Nataliya Zabolotnaya, a five-time European champion who won silver in London four years ago, was among the athletes to test positive for Dehydrochlormethyltestosterone.
Zabolotnaya's compatriots Alexandr Ivanov and Svetlana Tzarukaeva also claimed silver medals in Great Britain, but the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) confirmed on Wednesday that the duo's samples returned adverse analytical findings.
Belarus' Iryna Kulesha, Hripsime Khurshudyan of Armenia and Moldova's Cristina Iovu were the other London medal-winners – they all picked up bronze - to test positive.

Azerbaijani weightlifter Intigam Zairov, Georgia's Rauli Tsirekidze, Almas Uteshov of Kazakhstan, Turkey's Sibel Simsek and Russian Andrey Demanov also failed tests.
The IWF said the 11 athletes remain provisionally suspended until their cases are closed.
