Nick Foles has done it again.

After stepping in for an injured Carson Wentz in the final games of 2017, Foles led the Philadelphia Eagles to a miraculous Super Bowl run, giving the city its first championship in a decade.

On Sunday night, with Foles once again taking over for the Eagles in a desperate situation, he once again brought a bit of magic to Los Angeles, leading Philadelphia to a 30-23 upset victory over the Los Angeles Rams.

The game went a long way towards earning Foles a big payday this coming offseason and also was hugely profitable for bettors brave enough to bet on the Eagles.

The Eagles entered the game as 13.5-point underdogs, making the win their largest upset victory since 1985 according to Evan Abrams at the Action Network , and the second-biggest upset in franchise history.

From the start of the game, Foles looked comfortable, and quickly found his rhythm with wide receiver Alshon Jeffrey, dropping a few dimes that made it easy to believe that the Eagles might have a shot.

Foles looked loose and comfortable and was more than willing to chuck the ball up and hope on occasion. One of his biggest gains of the day was this airball to Jeffrey, which was helped along by the Rams secondary getting burnt off the snap.

Foles finished the day completing 24 of 31 passes for 270 yards and an interception not a statistical night that will win any awards, but more than enough from a backup quarterback looking to keep his team in the game.

Around him, the Eagles stepped up Jeffrey with his biggest game of the season, running backs Wendell Smallwood and Darren Sproles both converting in big situations, and the defense causing just enough trouble for Jared Goff to keep the Rams from tying the game.

Now at 7-7, Philadelphia still needs help if they want to make it back to the postseason. With just two games remaining, the Eagles need to win out against Houston and Washington and have the Panthers and Vikings take at least one loss each to earn a shot at defending their title.

There's still a long way to go, but if Foles has taught us anything, it's not to count him and the Eagles out.
