The UTAG recently declared a strike pending payment of research funding and other allowances, and as usual students on social media took very different turns to the news.

Anytime the University Teachers Association of Ghana, (UTAG), decides to go on strike, the conversation that arise around the topic are on split opinions.

Most people side with the association on various terms but always call for the striking lecturers to think about the students before making their decisions.
