Ibrahimovic scores acrobatic goal 3-minutes into his debut

Zlatan Ibrahimovic opened his Manchester United scoring account four minutes into his debut, notching with a bicycle kick in Saturday’s friendly against Galatasaray.

The Swedish striker, who arrived from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer earlier this month, hit the ball into the ground with enough bounce to beat goalkeeper Fernando Muslera.

Ibrahimovic’s first in a United shirt came in his home country, with the club’s third pre-season friendly of the summer held at Gothenburg’s Ullevi Stadium.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic opened his Manchester United account with a stunning bicycle kick as his new club beat Turkish side Galatasaray 5-2 in Gothenburg.

Galatasaray struggled to get going in the opening minutes of the game but equalised with their very first chance of the match as Sinan Gumus headed in Wesley Sneijder's excellent free-kick cross,  Bruma put the Turkish side into the lead in the second half.

Wayne Rooney drew United level and shot them into the lead, after Marcus Ransford had won them a penalty.

Marouane Fellaini and Juan Mata added their name to the scores for Manchester United to finish the game at 5-2 in their favour.

Skipper Wayne Rooney was named the man of the match.
