Ghanaian gospel musician, Gifty Osei has indicated that she is not bothered by negative stories written about her anymore.
“I have taken the insults for too long and I think the time to take action is now. It is very disheartening that I wake up in the morning and read messages that are full of insults either on my facebook wall or my inbox. I mean how? It is not fair, not at all, not to us who are public figures or into show business.“The painful part is that, these are people who do not know anything about you and even if you want to say something or comment on my post or picture, should it be an insult? I upload pictures and people have issues with my pictures,” she said.

Gifty Osei was also in the news for allegedly wearing a hip and butt pad to enhance the size of her backside. Controversial photos of her performing at the 2015 MUSIGA Grand Ball held at the State House in Accra was the evidence used by persons who suggest so.

But speaking on Kasapa FM’s Aben Wo Ha show last Friday, Gifty Osei stated that she pays no attention to such stories again.
“I am not worried when I hear people say bad things about me. The thing is, I do not wake up in the morning looking for what is being said about me and who said what. I look up to things that will uplift my spirit, draw me closer to God and would be productive but as to the negative stories, I am not bothered at all,” she said.
