Police goes for Shatta Wale’s audio tape

Shatta Wale alleged that Bulldog threatened to kill him like he killed 'the other guy'

Shatta Wale says Bulldog threatened to kill him

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service has gone for a copy of the audio recording from Pluzz FM that had Dancehall artist, Shatta Wale accuse Bulldog, his former manager, of having threatened to kill him like he [Bulldog] killed one other guy.

“Good evening friends on Facebook. I want to share this information with all those who are writing and speaking about the Bull Dog and the Shatta Wale issues because the police has shown interest in that statement. The CID pro A.S.P Benefo Darkwa took my statement today and came for the recording of the programme so I can caution my friends here to be circumspect with their statements especially those on radio. I enjoy this position of the car especially when I am tired and stressed. By the way we are printing Flex newspaper for you tomorrow. Remember to read one this week. I was talking to  in this picture. In God we trust. Cheers!!!,” host of the station’s AM Pluzz show, Sammy Baah Flex posted on his Facebook timeline.

Shatta Wale at a press conference in Pluzz FM studios on Monday giving his account regarding the abrupt split between himself and Bullhaus Entertainment led by Bulldog, real name Lawrence Nana Asiama Hanson said the latter in a fit of anger said he will kill him.

“Somebody asked him, ‘Bulldog are you not the same person who has issues to answer in Ghana about things like these?’ And he responded, ‘don't mind him, I will kill him like I killed the other guy’," Shatta Wale said.

Although the name of the one allegedly murdered was not mentioned, some people are making reference to the murder of Kwaw Kese’s manager, Fennec Okyere of which Bulldog was charged for but was later acquitted.

Reports suggest that the police is studying the content of the audio recording and will soon re-open Fennec Okyere’s murder case.
