People are trolling Ghanaian celebrities with the hashtag #YearOfKebab and it’s about Cardi B

What you do not know is, the #YearOfKebab. Errm, no! That’s not sponsored by the Ghana government.

Here’s a quick overview of what #YearOfKebab is about.

American rapper Cardi B is in Ghana for a show. Upon her arrival to the motherland, a host of celebrities gathered at her hotel for a ‘meet and greet’, something they claim was arranged by the organizers.

The likes of Afia Schwarzenegger, Efia Odo, Moesha Buduong, Hajia4Real, Akuapem Poloo and others were spotted at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra.

Cardi B never showed. The next thing was the Grammy Awards-winning musician chewing some kebab at the poolside.

This did not go down well with a host of celebrities who took to social media to register their displeasure.

However, social media can be kind to with empathy at times or not. This was the ‘not’ time. And instead, a hashtag #YearOfKebab was created to troll the celebrities.
