A death row prisoner's last wish was to eat a whole bible
A prison guard thought the inmate had needed time with the Bible to repent from his sins.
This came as a surprise to Walter Henri, a prison guard who handed him the holy book because he thought the convict wanted to use it to communicate with God.
Morris however had other ideas as he was described to have ingested each page of the Bible with so much relish.
“He kept tearing pieces from his Bible and eating them like they were potato chips!”, prison guard Henri told Worldnews.
Prison director Frank Davis expressed that the inmate was allowed to eat the Bible because it didn't go against the institution's policy on "last meal".
As it stands, only Morris who must have been executed by now can answer questions about the significance of the rather shocking act.
