The on-going Easter celebrations on the Kwahu Mountain have turn sour to some celebrants following reports of robbery attacks on visitors.
The thieves rob visitors of their valuables including Brazilian hairs and eye lashes despite the heavy police presence in the area.
Adwoa Serwaa, a native of Obomeng expressed shock at the hideous crime at Kwahu during the festive season.
According her, she was robbed off her Brazilian hair, eye lashes and assaulted by the criminals on her home from a party.
Adwoa Serwaa called on the police to intensify their operations to encourage more people to Kwahu during the next Easter festivities.
Meanwhile, about 15 suspects have been arrested for various types of crime in Kwahu.
Divisional Police Commander, Chief Superintendent James Safo Peprah in an interview with Adom News said the suspects are currently in police custody pending investigations.
He indicated that they were arrested for rape, robbery and assault and will be processed for court after investigations.
Chief Supt Safo Peprah urged revelers to stay out of trouble because their men are on the ground to ensure law and order.
