Niu Xiangfeng nicknamed as "dating madman" is reported to have said that he messaged women about 60,000 times online, but most of them rejected his love proposal while others did not honour it with any reply.

He also estimated that he must have approached at least 20,000 – 30,000 women physically on the streets.

Niu Xiangfeng confirmed the number and tried to break it down after newsmen sought after him when he was recently featured in a Pear video as having been turned down by women 80,000, but he is still soldiering on.

According to odditycentral.com, the young man ventured into the woman hunting expedition after the demise of his father, in order to make a family, but he said most of the women “say that as a man, you have to have a house”.

He was seen in 2013 roaming in the streets of Beijing with a notice advertising him and his contact details, all aimed at finding a suitor.

Since that time the Chinese media have been monitoring to see whether he has succeeded in getting a soul mate eventually.

Though Niu Xiangfeng admitted that he is not as wealthy as the women would have expected, he said other factors that are contributing to his failure to find a suitor has to do with the fact that he is short and ugly.

However, some women on social media hold a different view. They believe the man looks too aggressive and desperate, saying “Love can’t be forced.”

Despite the setbacks, the young man is still determined to pursue more women, with the hope that he will meet the right woman to marry one day.
