The extraordinary two-headed baby girl, who was born by Caesarean section, is currently in intensive care where medics are treating her for breathing difficulties.
Thousands of people have reportedly flocked to the hospital in Brahmanbaria, east of Dhaka, where she was delivered by Caesarean section, to catch a glimpse of the newborn and to pay respect to her, claiming she is a goddess.
Her father Jamal Mia, a farm labourer, described being awestruck when he first saw his new baby, but said he could not afford an ultrasound to check for complications when his wife was pregnant with the baby.

"She has two fully developed heads. She is eating with two mouths and breathing with two noses.
Still, I thank Allah that she and the mother are now okay. I feel sad for her. She has been born to a poor man. I don't have money to even properly treat her mother," Mia said.
