An unusual scene was enacted in a village in India as Villagers of Garkhuta in West Bengal watched a python swallowed a goat.
Python swallows goat
A 10-foot long python ate a goat whiles people gathered round kept watching the incident in amazement.
An eye witness to the fatal incidence, Vidyut Sarkar, the District Forest Officer acknowledged the incident as the first since he assumed office.
He added that the incidence happened as the a result of the massive deforestation exercise ongoing in the nearby village, Jalpaiguri Forest Reserve
Photographer Roni Choudhury said he saw the 10-foot long python slowing devouring the dead goat as he walked passed the Sonakhali Reserve Forest and followed to capture the rare scene.
The villagers watched as the python swallowed the goat and slowly crawled into the forest.
