Police constable defiles primary 5 pupil

The police officer stationed at Dzodze in the Ketu North District reportedly defiled the girl in his room.

The suspect, named Constable Kennedy Sarfo, a police officer stationed at Dzodze in the Ketu North District reportedly defiled the girl in his room.

A source told Accra-based Citi FM that the victim was on May 7 asked by an errand boy of the police officer to accompany him to the officer’s room.

The errand boy, however, left the victim and the suspect alone in the room.

The officer was said to have subsequently defiled the young girl, who is also a primary five pupil on gunpoint.

He later detained the victim in his room till the next day and warned her not to report the incident to anyone else he would kill her.

The victim was later seen bleeding and the parents realised what had happened to her, the source said. However, when the officer was confronted, he pleaded to settle the issue at a family level.

The suspect then gave GHC4O to the parents of the victim but later refused to answer his calls although the victim’s health was getting worse.

The parents were, therefore, forced to send the victim to the hospital and the matter was later reported to the police.
