The Ashanti Regional Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Daniel Agyenim Boateng is in the grips of the Police for his alleged involvement for defrauding seven persons with the promise of providing them government jobs.

According to reports, he was arrested after complainant and a member of the NPP 'Yeboah Krofrom' accused the regional chairman of failing to get them jobs in the security services after receiving a whooping GH¢11,400 from seven persons.
Daniel Agyenim Boateng allegedly took GH¢2,000 each from five persons and GH¢700 from two others.
After several months of waiting for the enrolment into the public and the security service, the frustrated complainant proceeded to the Tafo Pankorano Divisional and District Police and reported.

Agyenim Boateng was arrested and has since presented a statement to the police.
He is yet to be charged by the police and taken to court.
