It is reported that Leticia was found hanging on a rope by a water reservoir at the clinic in the Afram Plains South District.

The security at the hospital told Accra-based Citi FM that they suspect Leticia committed the act on Sunday (March 12, 2017) night after she paid a visit to her mother who was on admission at the clinic.

Sources say that the deceased might have taken the decision because her husband allegedly divorced her after she recovered from a short mental ailment.

Similar ones happened at New Tafo in the Eastern Region, the University of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and Achimota among other places.

Meanwhile, the Mental Health Authority has set up a temporary suicide helpline aimed at suicide prevention in the country.

The helpline for suicide prevention is 020-681-4666.
