Alexis Ohanian, a Reddit founder, installed the billboards along Interstate 10, heading into Palm Springs, to welcome Serena Williams, his wife, back to tennis.

When it comes to romantic gestures, Alexis Ohanian may have just served up an ace.

Ohanian, a Reddit founder married to Serena Williams, the 23-time Grand Slam singles champion, created four giant billboards to welcome Williams back to tennis and say she's "the greatest momma of all time."

Though Williams was scheduled to compete in the Australian Open in January — four months after giving birth to her daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. — she withdrew, saying she wasn't where she wanted to be.

She competed at the Fed Cup earlier this month and is scheduled to return to the Women's Tennis Association Tour at the BNP Paribas Open next week in Indian Wells, California.

As Williams makes her way to Indian Wells, she will be greeted by the billboards, as they are on the part of Interstate 10 heading into Palm Springs, 25 miles from the venue.

The billboards feature images of Williams and her daughter and the phrase "G.M.O.A.T." — the Greatest Mother Of All Time.

"These just went up on alongside I-10 into Palm Springs," Ohanian said on Instagram, adding that he and his daughter "wanted to welcome her back to tennis."

"Designed them myself, with some help from Jr.," he said.

Williams is also scheduled to compete in tournaments in Miami, Madrid, Rome, Paris, and New York later this year.
