Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship Inc. is an international social fraternal organization which was founded at Morgan State College in Baltimore, Maryland in the United States of America on October 12, 1962 by 14 young black men.

The purpose of this organization is to promote academic awareness and good ethical standards, to promote unity and fellowship among college men, to create intelligent and effective leadership, and to study and help alleviate the social and economic problems in order to improve the stature of mankind.

Groove Phi Groove has chapters all over the U.S.A with a membership base reaching into tens of thousands.

On October 12, 2013 the first line in Ghana was inducted; this consisted of 14 young men who are graduates and undergraduates of the prestigious universities in Ghana and are willing to perpetuate the good name of the fellowship. Over the years they have grown in numbers and even into Nigeria.

Their distinct goals are to volunteer, galvanize efforts and promote the mission of Groove Phi Groove, S.F.I in Ghana and Africa. They have sustained their activeness for 3 years and completed several volunteer and non-profit projects.

Some of these activities are funding the tuition fees of a student of the University of Ghana under their Groove Fund Scholarship, Feed the homeless projects, student mentoring, stationary donations, community clean ups amongst so many others.

In celebrating their anniversary and its establishment in Africa, they promise to continue and grow their good works in helping develop society.
