Students are said to have demonstrated last Thursday after authorities asked about 160 of their mates to produce two bags of cement each for missing a roll call conducted after the March 6 holiday.
The school's authorities had asked the students not to take leave during the holidays but 160 of them defied the order.
After the punishment to produce the bags of cement was meted out to them, they went on rampage destroying facilities at the school, which is expected to close the current academic term by Thursday, March 24.
