It started as a simple request from Shatta Wale on Twitter on October 13 to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
He asked the president, “Your excellency, Tuesday is my birthday ..what are you giving me ..@NAkufoAddo ”

Following his tweet, the "Ayoo" hitmaker received an exciting birthday message from the president and added that, “You for come visit me for Flagstaff House o!”
Well, Wale's wish has been fulfilled. He finally had the chance to meet the president at the Flagstaff House on Wednesday, November 1.
The president tweeted a couple of photos from Wale's visit with the caption: "The “Dancehall King”, @shattawalegh, was at the Presidency this afternoon to pay me a visit, after my invitation to him, on his birthday."
EIB Network's Bola Ray and Samira Bawumia were also seen at the Flagstaff House during their meeting.
