The Registrar General’s Department has launched an online registration portal which will allow for businesses across the country to register their companies online.

This will reduce the long queues at the offices of the Registrar General’s Department and also save time.
This is a public-private partnership which forms part of the E-Ghana project.

Speaking at the launch in Accra on Thursday, October 19, 2017, the Communication Minister, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful said strategic measures have been put in place to address challenges that may come up with government digitising the economy.
The introduction of the E-certificate, according to the Registrar General’s Department, will help reduce the hardship prospective company owners go through in registering businesses, reduce human interface and cut down on unapproved fees associated with registration.
