Ghanaian boxer Isaac Dogboe has always been under the care of his father and trainer Paul Dogboe for guiding him to win the WBO Interim Super Bantamweight Titile.
Mexican boxer Cesar Juarez was subject to a brutal all attacking approach from Isaac Dogboe which saw him knocked out in the 5th round of the bout.
Isaac Dogboe gave all gratitude to his father Paul Dogboe for winning the coveted title.
“When I started boxing, my father told me that it was either I did the hard work or there was no need to start at all. I hope I have made him proud tonight.
"He is the one guiding me and he directs me to go this way or that way. That is how we have kept moving forward. The credit goes to the team. My father, my coaches, the management team and the people of Ghana. People from all over the country to cheer us on.”
Isaac Dogboe looks to face Jesse Magdaleno who is the current WBO Super Bantamweight champion in March according to reports.
