GFA advises Kwesi Appiah to remain focused

In the wake of Ghana’s inability to qualify for Russia 2018 World Cup, Oti Akenteng has advised Appiah to redirect focus on the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

“He has started so well, is just a matter to stay focus we have been telling him and we are solidly behind him. He should know 2019 is his target so he must forget about all those who are criticizing his recent call ups since there is a bright future for him”, Akenteng told Starr Sports.
Ghana have not won the Africa Cup of Nations since 1982 I Libya and an end to the long wait for trophy will be nostalgic.
