Ghana are in danger of not qualifying for the FIFA World Cup for the first time since 2002, after they were held to a 1-1 draw by their Congolese counterparts on Friday.
The Black Stars after the draw are rocked bottom of group E and Gyan has shared his thought on what went wrong for the team.
''It's difficult, honestly, it's very difficult. Things didn't go well as expected and we didn't play the way we expected to play like tactically and mentally. I don't know what went wrong but I will say the desire wasn't there today,'' Gyan said in a post-match interview as quoted by Ghanaweb.
''It's one of those days that things do not happen. Nobody is to be blamed but it's one of those days. I don't know what went wrong but I think it's one of those days.''
Ghana will play Congo in Brazzaville on Tuesday in the return leg clash.
