Hence Suarez picked five points, with Iniesta gaining three for the second place and Neymar had two for the third place.
In the main award on the night for FIFA awards Cristiano Ronaldo beat off competition from Messi and Neymar to win the FIFA Footballer of the Year for the fifth time and equaled the Argentine’s feat.
