Denver Broncos outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware suffered a fractured ulna in Sunday's win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak revealed the extent of Ware's injury following Denver's 34-20 defeat of the Colts at Sports Authority Field.

"Let me be careful here. I just know he has a fracture," Kubiak said.

"I think the questions are going to be, is it something he might be able to play with that you rest, or something that we go fix right away and he misses a period of time, then he goes back."

Ware left the game after colliding with Von Miller as they shared a sack in the third quarter. Colts quarterback Andrew Luck stepped up in the pocket to avoid both Ware and Miller, leading to the collision.

The half sack moved Ware into sole possession of ninth on the all-time sacks list, breaking a tie with Julius Peppers and the retired Jared Allen, who each have 136 sacks.
