Asamoah Gyan- I can confidently say Castro is dead

The 31-year-old striker believes his friend Castro is not among the living

Gyan in 2014 went on vacation at Ada with his friends [G-Unit] during which Castro disappeared with his girlfriend when they got involved in Jet Ski accident

Asamoah Gyan was accused of using his friend Castro to make rituals to propel him to greater heights in his football career.

Castro can be declared dead after seven years according the law and a section of the public still believe the hip-life musician is still alive, since his body hasn't been found yet.

However, Asamoah Gyan has disclosed that his friend shouldn't be counted among the living, according to two powerful priests they consulted at Ada.

"We consulted two fetish priests at Ada and they all told us 'Under' is dead after they nodded their heads. I was there so I know he is dead, but people who were not would still be expecting him," he said it on the Delay Show on GH One TV

Asamoah Gyan added that Castro was destined to die on that faithful day.

"A day before we went to Ada, he [Castro] came to my house and said he was on his way to Kumasi and would not join us. But whilst we were on our way to Ada, on the Accra-Tema motorway, we received a phone call that “Under” [Castro] wants us to wait for him.

"We parked at a fuel station where a crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of me. I later got the inclination it was destined to happen because he was initially not part of the trip. When we got to Ada, everything went fine. We were to spend three days, but ended up using the Jet Ski on the second day," the Black Stars skipper added.
