After finishing last season trophyless with both club and country, Manchester City and Argentine defender Martin Demichelis seems to have won something outside of the pitch.
The 34-year-old defender is set to finally wed his long-time partner Evangelina Anderson in Buenos Aires next weekend.
Demichelis and Anderson who is a former Playboy model have been together since 2007.
The couple met while the defender was playing in the German Bundesliga with Bayern Munich.

They have two children together - six-year-old Martin and two-year-old Lola.
32-year-old Anderson has posed nude for several Argentine magazines, including Playboy, and is a former actress and dancer who became a very popular name on Chilean television.
Anderson told told Manchester City Evening News; "The civil ceremony will be an intimate celebration for 50 guests and will be a simple ceremonial exchange of rings."
She also revealed that herself and her partner will have their honeymoon in Marbella.
