Man shoots wife dead for alleged infidelity

The man identified as Kwaku Mensah allegedly killed Akosua Gyafo following suspicions that the woman had been cheating on him.

A farmer in the Kwahu District of the Eastern region has been arrested by the Abetifi police after he reportedly shot dead his wife

Starfmonline.com reported that a disagreement ensued between the couple after they both returned from a funeral.

The man said he was not enthused how the deceased related to other men at the funeral, hence his suspicion heightened.

According a resident whom Starr FM spoke to, the suspect could not control his temper during the altercation and he picked his gun and shot the woman dead.

He is now reportedly in the grips of the Abetifi police pending investigation, while the body of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue for autopsy.
