The officials of the Greek side, Varia FC claim they don’t have any idea of a pending game against the Porcupine Warriors in January.
The 80 anniversary game of Kumasi Asante Kotoko which was originally scheduled to come on in early October against Petrolul was postponed to a different date and later, the Romanian outfit were replaced by the Greek side, but the arranged date was again postponed by the Porcupine Warriors.
And despite, an ongoing publicity on the match which is scheduled for 3rd January, 2016 by the host, Asante Kotoko, the manager for the Greek side Georgios Georgiadis insists they know nothing about the game.
“I don't know nothing my friend. I don't know if we will come to Ghana. I don’t know anything.”
“I knew we were coming to Ghana in November but cannot tell whether we will come back for the game. My leaders have not said anything to me and the players don’t know anything about the game,” Georgiadis told Ghanasoccernet.com.
It is however unclear whether the Greece side will be presenting their junior side as the relegation threatened side will be playing a match on the 2nd and 4th of January in the Greece Super Lig.
