The husband of Akua Donkor, the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) flag bearer has said he remains unperturbed by Ghanaians who subject his wife to ridicule in her bid to become Ghana’s president.
“...I am not worried because it is part of the game,” Freeman Adjei said on Thursday when he accompanied his wife to submit her forms to contest the 2016 presidential elections.

Her husband, however, insists that even though Akua Donkor has no formal education, she has an idea to rule the country.

He told 3news.com that “Election is not about fight, it is just like luck, anything at all goes; God will always provide the winner.”

According to him, he decided to remain outside the media limelight to enable him to give his full support to his 64-year-old wife who desires to be Ghana’s next president.
Mr. Adjei who is a transport owner said he is not moved by giants like President John Mahama, Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom who are also vying for the only presidential slot with his wife.
He maintains that his wife will pull a surprise on December 7, 2016.
Akua Donkor and former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings of the National Democratic Party (NDP) are the only two female presidential aspirants in the 2016 elections.
