The Electoral Commission had earlier said it will not dissolve the election steering committee after allegations by some political parties including the New Patriotic Party that the committee was biased.
Pressure group, Let My Vote Count Alliance (LMVCA) had alleged that the steering committee is biased towards the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), and thus must be dissolved.
