Sergio Traguil to sign 3-year after Kenichi's departure

Hearts of Oak will announce Sergio Traguil as manager in the next 48 hours.

In a statement issued along with the announcement that Kenichi Yatsushashi was leaving, the club said: “there will be a substantive replacement immediately.”

That successor will be Traguil, who is expected to sign a contract for a minimum three years, earning a salary sources say 'is juicy'.

Hearts' decision to sack Kenichi after his fate had been in the balance since his famous Facebook post that unveiled the club's underlining to public and got the hierarchy of the club irked. His alleged 'insubordination for authority' emerged after the arrival of Sergio Traguil, who according to the Club, was engaged to groom talents for the senior team.

Hearts says they parted company with the former Aspire players’ development coach by "mutual consent", and Pulse.com.gh checks confirmed that the Japanese took the decision to leave on Monday.

"No one forced him to leave or sign any dismissal letter. He felt his time at the club was over after the arrival of Coach Sergio. He didn't want to be pushed out as the media reported. He left on his own accord," a source confirmed.

Sergio Traguil is yet to agree specific financial terms with the Phobians, but it is believe the figure being negotiated is good enough to convince the 35-year-old to put pen to paper.

Traguil, who had previously worked with Benfica, Kaduna United and De Elite Marketing and Representation Company, will also be assigned to ensure youth team players development and the marketing of players for the club.
