Teenager shot in the head during Eid-Ul-Fitr celebrations

A teenager was on Tuesday evening shot in the head by unknown assailants during an event to mark the Eid-Ul-Fitr in Kumasi.

Osman was shot after he refused to hand over his mobile phone to the suspected armed robbers who were seizing phones of people at the event, Accra-based Joy FM reports.

The attackers were said to have fired the shot that hit the victim’s head.

The Manhyia hospital had earlier indicated that they were incapacitated to provide treatment to the boy due to the extent of his injury.

Reports trickling in suggest that the boy had died, but the police is yet to confirm.
