Men who have joint accounts with wives are lazy: counsellor Lutterodt

The controversial marriage counsellor says a man must manage his account alone to prove he is not lazy or has a ‘poor man’ mentality.

Men who operate joint accounts with their wives are lazy, counsellor George Lutterodt has said.

He was speaking on Atinka FM's mid-morning show Friday hosted by ‘Roman Father.’

“A man must manage his account alone if he is hard working but if he has a joint account with his wife, it will be out of laziness and poverty,” he said.

“If a man has a joint account with his wife, then he is a poor man. It’s either the account is being managed by his wife,” he said.

The conservative marriage counsellor further explained that the man is the head of the family who must not share his responsibilities with his wife.

"Men, he said must desist from laziness and “embrace the spirit of working to meet the demands of your house.”
