But the reverse happened in a hospital in Brazil when a baby started walking a few moments after it was born.

The mother of the baby and staff of the hospital were left in utter disbelief over the incident.

According to The Sun, the midwife cradling the infant across the chest with one arm was left astonished as the infant wrestled to walk on her own.

A video posted on Facebook by Arlete Arantes from Brazil showed a nurse dressed in surgical robes with a clinical mask over her mouth, crying out in amazement: “Oh my gosh, the girl is walking. Good gracious!”

It is, however, unclear when the 41-second video was recorded, but it has already taken the internet by storm.
