Essien in pain as ball hit his balls

The Ghanaian midfielder became a subject of discussion in Indonesi, but for a wierd reason that happened while playing for his Indonesian side Persib Bandung.

Michael Essien had to endure severe pains when a ball hit his testicles while featuring for Persib Bandung in a game against Persija Jakarta.

The 34-year-old fell to the grounds in intense pain when a ball was hit straight into his testicles.

The game was an uncompromising one  as Persib Bandung and Persija Jakarta settled for a one all draw.

Michael Essien joined the Indonesian side in January, after terminating his contract with Panathinaikos.

The former Chelsea and Real Madrid player has made 15 appearances and scored twice for Persib Bandung.
