Retired Ireland captain Paul O'Connell will hope to impart some of his international experience on Munster's youngsters after agreeing a one-year advisory role.
O'Connell played for the province throughout his club career, making 178 appearances, winning two European Cups and three league titles before being forced to retire in February.
The 36-year-old – who led Ireland to two Six Nations titles and four triple crowns – had planned to play his final year with Toulon in the Top 14 but the hamstring problem that ultimately ended his career meant he never turned out for the French side.
After five months away from the game the former lock has returned to Munster to work with their academy.

"Every club in the world would love to have an iconic figure such as Paul O'Connell involved in their set-up," said Munster Rugby CEO Garrett Fitzgerald.
"As a Limerick native and proud Munster and Irishman who has played and led teams for Munster, Ireland and the [British and Irish] Lions, we were very eager to secure his services in some capacity.
"We certainly couldn't let this resource and opportunity go.
"An appointment such as this is a further boost to our academy staff and young players, and to the organisation as a whole."
