Semi Radradra's hat-trick proved in vain as South Sydney Rabbitohs inflicted more misery on Parramatta Eels in a stunning 22-20 comeback victory at Pirtek Stadium.
The Eels were playing for the first time since being docked 12 points and receiving a heavy fine for breaching salary cap rules.
It looked as though their troubles would stay off the pitch as Radradra's treble and a score from Vai Toutai helped the hosts to a 20-6 lead.
However, the Rabbitohs ended a four-match losing streak as tries from Kirisome Auva'a, Bryson Goodwin and Luke Keary completed a memorable turnaround for Michael Maguire's men.

It was a bright start for the Rabbitohs and Alex Johnston slotted in at full-back before slipping in Michael Oldfield to score the game's first try and an Adam Reynolds penalty stretched the lead.
Parramatta then lost Kenny Edwards to a head injury after being hit with big forearm from Greg Inglis, but the hosts were on the scoreboard when Radradra leapt brilliantly to collect a high kick, and the same man touched down for a second time after collecting Michael Jennings' offload in the 37th minute.
There was time for one more score before the break when powerhouse Toutai barged through the Rabbitohs defence, and Radradra completed a fine hat-trick shortly after the restart.
The visitors were reeling, but Auva'a held off some close Eels defence to touch down in the right-hand corner in the 47th minute to bring the scores within eight points.
South Sydney cut the gap further with nine minutes remaining, Goodwin completing a team move from right to left.
And with two minutes left Inglis found Keary on the left and he sprinted for the line, before Reynolds nailed the pressure kick to seal the win.
