Meet Roberta Quarshie, 1st runner-up for Miss Ghanaian Canadian 2017

This year’s contestants have put in a tremendous amount of time and effort in exhibiting the highest level of pageantry we have seen in Miss Ghanaian Canadian space.

The 2nd annual Miss Ghanaian Canadian Pageant was held at the Living Arts Centre, RBC Theatre, Mississauga on Saturday, September 16, 2017.

After a fierce competition between the ladies, Miss Zina Issach won the coveted title of Miss Ghanaian Canadian 2017. Roberta Quarshie and Jedidia Acheampong were crowned 1st and 2nd runner-up respectively.

Miss Ghanaian Canadian pageant identifies Ghanaian women in Canada who exemplify beauty, talent, supremacy, and intelligence.

It aims to create new role models through the pageant, that will serve as ambassadors, define a new Ghana, enrich the beauty of the Ghanaian woman and enhance a new strength, energy, and spirit for the advancement of women.

This is a platform for young women to achieve personal growth and development, take pride in their heritage, and discover their inner beauty in achieving their humanitarian goals in life and laying a strong foundation as leaders of the future.

Roberta Quarshie is a management student at Concordia University and a banker at BMO Financial Group.

The 26-year-old  is the CEO of the Make-up line Q-Trois By Roobie, a makeup brand that provides quality makeup services to women of all shades in Africa.
