"I'm dying my hair purple," he tweeted while watching Friday's game against France. "Let's go!!"
Im dying my hair purple. Lets go!! #USWMNT #Rapinoe - Zac Efron (@ZacEfron) June 28, 2019
Knowing Efron, he might just do it. He's not afraid to be daring when it comes to his 'do, having recently gone all in on the trend of guys dying their hair platinum blonde . And while purple hair is a little off the wall, anything has got to look better than the panini press-inspired fade he sported in The Beach Bum.
Rapinoe has helped make sporting history with the United States team: they've won their last ten games in a row in the Women's World Cup, setting a new tournament record. And on Friday, Rapinoe and her teammates beat France 2-1, securing a place in the sem-finals. Here's hoping they can keep up this winning streak when they come up against England on Tuesday.
"We face a very good English side, who have some good players. They're one of the big girls of the game," she said on Friday. England might be one of the "big girls" in the tournament, with one of the WWC's top scorers in Ellen White, the United States team boasts two top scorers: Alex Morgan, and of course Rapinoe herself, who has scored five goals. Tuesday looks set to be a real nail-biter - hopefully Efron will be cheering the girls on with his new lilac hair.
