President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has extended the duration of religious activities for churches and mosques in the country from to two hours.

He announced this at the 14th update on coronavirus in the country.

President Akufo-Addo said the new directive takes effect from Saturday, August 1, 2020.
He explained that this decision was taken due to the high level of compliance with the safety protocols by the religious bodies.
