The 2016 presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Nana Akufo-Addo on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 led a party delegation to mourn with President John Dramani Mahama whose mother passed away on Tuesday.
The president’s mother, Abiba Nnaba passed away after a short illness.
Other political figures, relatives and sympathisers paid a visit to the president to mourn with him.
The Speaker of parliament, Edward Doe Adjaho with a delegation from the lawmaking house also visited the president to express their condolence.
