Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, in an interview yesterday said he worked an average of 50-60 hours every other week.

By that logic, it would mean that the tech guru, works more than the average American, but less than the average American CEO. He added that ‘work’ did not include time he spends thinking about how to further improve his multi-billion dollar company – that is done during his personal time.

Zuckerberg tries as much as possible to live a balanced life of office and personal duties regardless of the demands of running a multi-billion dollar organization.

He stated that he gave himself time to achieve personal goals – like reading a new book every week – and also find time to learn a new language – Mandarin. He further explained that he relished the challenge of learning a new language because there are just no shortcuts to going around it.
