Egypt frees Al Jazeera journalist after 400 days in prison

Greste, an Australian, was freed from the Cairo prison on Sunday, February 1, and deported by Egyptian authorities.

Al Jazeera journalist, Peter Greste has been released from prison in Egypt after 400 days behind bars.

Two other Al Jazeera journalists, Baher Mohamed and Mohamed Fahmy are still being held captive in Egypt.

The three men were arrested in 2013 after the overthrow of President Mohammed Morsi on charges of spreading false news and aiding the Muslim Brotherhood.

Al-Jazeera has said that while it welcomes Peter Greste's release, it would not rest till the Mohamed and Fahmy were also released.
