A Kumasi-based sports journalist Gariba Raubil has begun sweeping <a href="https://www.pulse.com.gh/sports/football/hearts-of-oak-to-face-guinean-side-ci-kamsar-in-caf-champions-league-prelims/rhxgx4x">Hearts of Oak’s</a> secretariat after boldly promising to do so if the club wins the Ghana Premier League.

The Fox FM journalist said there was no way Hearts would win the 2020/21 league title and vowed to sweep the club’s secretariat if that happens.

Unfortunately for him, the Phobians ended their 12-year wait for a major trophy by winning the league and FA Cup double.

To honour his promise, Gariba Raubil went to Hearts’ secretariat on Monday morning to sweep the place.

Photos and videos that have gone viral on social media captured him holding a broom and sweeping the compound of the secretariat.

Meanwhile, Hearts will play against Club Industriel de Kamsar in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

Samuel Boadu’s side was paired against the Guinean giants during last Friday’s draw, which was held in Cairo, Egypt.

Hearts will travel to Conakry to face their opponents in the first-leg on the weekend of 10-12 September 2021.

The Ghanaian champions will then host Club Industriel de Kamsar in Accra for the second-leg between 17-19 September.

Meanwhile, the winner of the two-legged tie will advance to the next stage, where they’ll face Moroccan heavyweights Wydad Athletic Club.
