Congo coach confident of win over Black Stars

The Congo coach wants nothing but victory over Ghana come Tuesday.

Coach of Congo Brazzaville Sebastien Migne is confident about the chances of his side going into Tuesday’s crucial world cup qualifier against Ghana.

The Red Devils managed an impressive 1-1 draw with the , and will again be facing the West African nation on Tuesday afternoon.

Migne's side were unfortunate not to walk home with the win, having taken an early lead through Thievy Bifouma only to concede later on to a Thomas Partey strike.

And their coach believes they can put the final nail on the Black Stars’ coffin with a win at home.

“I am not going to tell you what Ghana did wrong that made us get a point here because we have a game on Tuesday," Migne told reporters, as quoted by Goal.com.

"All I can say is that the Ghana team is good and rich with many good players.

"My players played to my instructions and I felt that we should have won the game looking at the way we dominated the first half.

“But in the second half Ghana came back stronger and gave it their all and managed to get a goal and a point.

"We have seen how they play and we are going back to prepare for them on Tuesday.

“Hopefully we will get our first win of the qualifiers on Tuesday against Ghana.”

Both nations are currently below Egypt and Uganda at the top of group E, and will be hoping to better their chances of qualification in the upcoming clash.
