Kevin-Prince Boateng scored his tenth of the season in Las Palmas’ 1-1 draw with Deportivo Alaves on Sunday.

The enigmatic Boateng opened the scoring at Estadio Gran Canaria but the hosts found themselves pegged back by a second-half Ibai Gomez equaliser.

Despite enjoying 63% possession throughout the match, Las Palmas simply couldn't break the visitors down with just three of their 13 attempts being on target.

An awful challenge from Marko Livaja saw the match end on an unsavoury note with the Croatian shown a straight red card for a foul on Marcos Llorente.

The result doesn't do either team much harm or good in relation to the LaLiga table with Alaves staying in 11th place on 44 points whilst the Gran Canaria side missed the opportunity to overtake Valencia and thus remain in 13th.
