In the heart-rending letter, the lady's mother said that they shared the same father and went ahead to narrate how her own father, Raymond, had <a href="../2984292" id="82a75bd0-e5d4-5f78-bc2a-4ebcba60781c">raped and impregnated her</a>, detailing years of abuse she had suffered at his hand.

Cahill was raised by her divorced grandmother, Juanita, because her mother developed psychosis due to the abuse.

The shock and disgust of the sudden discovery led Cahill to attempt to commit suicide and then to suffer from anorexia.

She suddenly understood why her mother had such a hard time being around her as she was a constant reminded of the horrific abuse.

Cahill who was in and out of the hospital due to her anorexia, decided to share her story in an attempt to help other people suffering from anorexia.

In September, 2014, a 42-year-old man, Segun Oderinde in Ibadan, Oyo State, was reported to have fathered a child by his  16-year-old daughter after he had been having incestuous sex with her over a period of time.

She also sustained some stab wounds and was treated before before being taken into custody.

The cause of the quarrel, according to reports, was when Kamanda saw the love messages from another woman and confronted her boyfriend who denied having anything to do with the person who sent the message but she was not satisfied with his answer.

An argument ensued between them and she picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed him repeatedly.

On September 10, another Kenyan woman, Valentina Mugere, was arrested by the police in the Njong Division for allegedly stabbing her lover to death after he hugged her friend passionately.

In the same outpour of deadly jealousy, a 24-year-old Nigerian lady, Blessing Edet, was arrested on August 18, for stabbing her fiancé, Edet Ebong, to death during a quarrel when she denied him sex.

Just a few minutes ago, a two-storey building almost nearing completion collapsed at the Agungi area of Lekki, in the state and according to eyewitnesses, many of the labourers were trapped under the debris.

The case has been reported to the Igando Police Station but according to a source, the police did not see the need to treat the matter with the urgency it requires as they were demanding for money before they could take the bleeding woman to a hospital, neither did they give her any form of first aid treatment.

A family friend of the couple who sent the story and photos of the battered woman to Linda Ikeji, wrote:

"We need the help of human right to intervene, the case has been reported at Igando police station but I must say am disappointed in them because they are just too sluggish to the situation.

Rather they are after the fee for placing report; meanwhile the woman is busy bleeding, they left her unattended even to this early hour of today the police station does not even have common first aid box to treat her rather they asked her to go to hospital."

Cases of husband's brutalizing their wives have been on the increase in the country in recent times with husbands dehumanizing their wives. Such an incident where a police officer set his wife on fire and went scot free is still buzzing.

The Shishi, Fujian Province man, took the deadly risk and climbed out of the window to escape from the woman's husband and was rescued by firefighters after the man had left for work in the morning.

She admitted bringing the man home as her husband was away on a business trip but however, they were very nearly caught out when he unexpectedly came home early.

Luckily for the man, he was fully clothed when the husband returned, and so he didn't get too chilly out on the ledge.

According to a fire brigade spokesman, the man had 'been drinking a fair amount' which may have given him the courage to jump from the window to the ledge during his escape.

But when he had sobered up by the morning, 'he realised it would be extremely foolish to attempt to climb back into the flat,' the spokesman said.

For several hours, the man managed to crouch between a couple of air-conditioning units on the narrow ledge until his lover's husband had left for work.

The firemen who were unable to rescue him with a ladder, later attached a rope to him and pulled him back through the window to safety.

“She stole a set of underwear, three sets of `buba’ and wrappers, seven pieces of pants, bracelets, 10 pieces of handkerchief and seven pieces of face towel.

The others items are two pair of stockings and night wears all valued at N295, 000,” Corporal Osuji said.

I was scared. I went and told the manager of the park who told me to ignore him. He pleaded that I gave him my phone number which I did based on advice from another colleague of mine and throughout that night, he kept calling me, telling me romantic things."

Uzokwu went further by saying Owula came back the next day with two different bags which he handed to him, pleading with him that he would get more of such nice goodies if he slept with him.

"I went back and informed my manager and other drivers that the man had come back and was pestering my life but they still told me to ignore him. But I was surprised when I thought that he had gone as he showed up in the rest room where I had to ease myself.

I got the shock of my life when Owula grabbed me from behind, used one hand to cover my mouth and at the same time trying to force down my trouser, attempting to rape me.

It was at this point that I raised an alarm and other park workers came to my rescue," the victim narrated.

Reports have it that Owula was almost lynched by the staff of the transport company but for the arrival of the police team that rescued him and whisked him away.

The victim, a standard seven pupil at Kongoni primary school, was rescued by neighbours who rushed her to a dispensary where she received first aid attention before being transferred to the Kitale Sub County hospital where is recuperating.

The victim’s brother recounted how their mother arrived home that fateful afternoon and became incensed after noticing that the girl had fried maize flour meant for cooking ugali.

“When asked by mum where she had gotten the flour, our sister lied that she had borrowed it from a neighbour, prompting mum to rush to the said neighbour to confirm.”

The said neighbour, however, denied giving the girl the maize flour and this enraged the mother the more as she reportedly pounced on her daughter and used a crude cane to discipline her.

“My sister struggled and managed to escape from mum's  grip  and rushed to our bedroom where she locked herself. However, mum violently broke the door and continued hitting her.

"After that, mum poured kerosene on my sister's private parts and struck a matchstick which she lit her with it,” the boy added.

The man's suspicion was further fuelled when he intercepted a love text message the lecturer sent to his wife asking her to meet him at the hotel and he carefully laid a trap for the cheating duo and on the day of the incident, after leaning that the wife had gone to meet the man in the designated hotel, he mobilized the mob and stormed the secret love rendezvous where he caught his adulterous wife with her lover boy who is equally a married man.

To add insult to injury, the aggrieved husband actually went to the hotel with some members of his wife's family who broke into the room to see their married sister stark naked having sex with another man.

The cheating spouse, it was learnt, got the beating of their lives before they were rescued by policemen from the ‘B’ Division of the state Police Command who quickly whisked them to their station to avoid being lynched.

The state Commissioner of Police, Kola Sodipo, while addressing newsmen, said the suspects were arrested in an uncompleted building at Owode area of the state after intelligence reports showed that the criminals were usually gathering at the place.

One of the suspects, Jacob Odetunde, according to the CP, had allegedly confessed to the police that the human parts found on them were from a man they had earlier killed at Ogbomoso area of the state and they were waiting for their customers who include top politicians and businessmen.

“The suspects who all disguised as prophets, have confessed to the crime,” the Commissioner of Police said.

Akojime was arraigned before a Lagos State Magistrate’s Court sitting in Igbosere presided over by Magistrate F. F. George, on a four-count charge ranging from conspiracy, obtaining by<a href="http://pulse.ng/gist/where-you-did-not-sow-fake-journalist-arrested-at-press-conference-id4061071.html" id="474e7e48-da36-567d-8f47-69068b4a902b"> false pretence to impersonation</a>.

The police prosecutor in the case, Inspector Haruna Ibrahim, told the court that the suspect and others still at large had obtained the sum of N33, 300 from one Samuel Eze with the pretence of helping him get recruited into the Nigerian Customs Service, by pretending to be Peter Akande, a Deputy Comptroller General of Customs.

The suspect was also alleged to be impersonating the Customs Comptroller by advertising and auctioning cars for sale, kniwng that information to be false.

When the charges were read to him, Akomije pleaded not guilty and Magistrate George admitted him to bail in the sum of N50,000, while adjourning the case till October 2, for mention.

A middle-aged man, <a href="../4155957" id="5a999e5c-a618-5ee8-a3e6-3677f7933d5d">seeking a divorce</a> from his wife of four years, Ariyo Sule, told a Grade “C” Customary Court, sitting in Iseyin, Oyo State, that his wife, Mope, is an incurable flirt who slept around with many men for money and other forms of gratification.

Sule who prayed the court to <a href="../4113865" id="087a6e73-1db5-51a8-8f0c-02972241346f">dissolve the marriage</a> that has produced two children, added that his wife began cheating on him shortly after he lost his job and was incapable of providing for the family.

“She sleeps around to make money. She has no shame or respect for her marital status at all.

I have been forced to send her out of our matrimonial home and the children are still with me as we speak. I will ensure that I take good care of them.

I want to appeal to this court to do justice by pronouncing us divorced legally," Sule appealed to the court.

Ruling on the prayer of the appellant, the President of the court, Raimi Oyegbenle, said that the defendant who had refused to appear in court, had written to the court to consent to the dissolution of the marriage, stating all efforts to reconcile the couple by their families had proved abortive and therefore the court had no choice but to annul the marriage.

But for divine intervention, a middle aged man identified as Chukwuka, would have been sent to the grave beyond by an angry husband, Emmanuel Udoh, after being <a href="http://pulse.ng/gist/what-he-deserves-married-woman-cuts-off-husbands-friends-penis-id4159795.html" id="2d11290c-7a7a-5e66-8378-84245ab54441">caught having sex </a>with Udoh's wife on his matrimonial bed.

According to information, the incident happened in the Ajegunle based area of Lagos State, when Udoh allegedly caught Chukwuka red handed on his wife, Gift, a mother of two kids, inside his bedroom.

Udoh was said to have tiptoed to his apartment and peeped through the window to see the most shocking sight of his life: his neighbour was humping on his wife.

The enraged Udoh was said to have rushed to the door and tried to force it open to catch the two adulterers in his room but they managed to escape naked through the window before Udoh could lay hold on his machete under his bed.

A neighbour who identified himself as Joseph Enang, disclosed that it was God that saved Chukwuka and Gift as Udoh who is from Akwa Ibom, could have sent them to their graves.

“When Udoh picked his cutlass and came out looking for both Gift and Chukwuka, they were nowhere to be found.

Udoh bit his hand and swore that if any of them returns to the premises, blood would flow. He called his wife’s elder brother, telling him to order his sister, Gift back home or he would not see her alive. He narrated what happened to her brother.

The neighbours were aware of the adulterous behaviour of the duo. Chukwuka is also married and blessed with one boy. His wife had quarrelled with him over his relationship with Gift but he would not listen.

He lied that there was nothing between them but just good neighbourliness. People in the compound knew what was going on and later told the man secretly and that was why he told the wife he was going to an emergency party at Ikorodu and may not return on time. Unknown to the wife and his secret lover, he had set a trap for them," Ennang said.

According to the police, they have launched a manhunt for the two women who indecently assaulted the man from the Karoi district after offering him a lift from Magunje Growth Point to Karoi.

"Police are investigating a case of aggravated indecent assault in which two women ordered a 29-year-old man to have sexual intercourse with one of them while the other one was holding a a live snake and pistol," Chief police spokesperson, Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba confirmed.

Charamba said that the incident happened at 9 am when the complainant boarded a  Toyota Raum with the vehicle driven by a middle-aged woman who was in the company of another woman, offering to give him a lift to his destination.

But at a lonely stretch on the road, the driver pulled up, pretending she wanted to check the car's tyre.

After a while, they resumed the journey with the driver turning into a bushy area and one of the women suddenly produced a gun and a snake and ordered the man to have sex with them.

One of the women allegedly ordered the man to swallow a blue tablet meant for sexual enhancement before taking turns to have unprotected sexual intercourse with him without his consent. The victim was taken to the hospital for tests to be run on him.

A shameless 60-year-old retired Assistant Superintendent of Police identified as ASP Yusuf Ibrahim, has been dragged to the Bauchi State High Court sitting in Bauchi, the state capital, over allegations of <a href="http://pulse.ng/gist/sex-fiend-78-yr-old-landlord-rapes-tenants-9-yr-old-daughter-in-enugu-id4154684.html" id="11441528-bc00-5a5b-bc5e-a22c5127c36c">raping </a>two little girls, aged five and six respectively.

According to reports, Ibrahim who resides at Bakin Kura area in the metropolis where he runs a provision shop in front of his house, had allegedly lured the little girls into the shop with chewing gums and sweets but unknown to him, some people had become suspicious of his movements and after giving him a little time, they burst into the shop and caught the former law officer in the very act of <a href="http://pulse.ng/gist/sex-demons-2-married-men-gang-rape-13-yr-old-girl-in-abuja-id4151665.html" id="e4684e2c-291c-5841-93e2-4bb9df198e19">defiling the girls</a>.

The police prosecution in the case, Mohammad Adamu, told the court that the accused was caught in the very act by other residents and was rescued by a passing police team which prevented him being lynched.

According to Adamu, the offence violated Section 28‎2 (1e) and was punishable under section 283 of Bauchi penal code.

Justice Muazu Abubakar, the president of the court, adjourned the case till September 16 while ordering that Ibrahim be remanded in prison custody.

The childless Nakanda, who hails from Kamuli district, according to Uganda Vision, has never conceived or even had menstrual periods but she believes God has finally opened womb with Tikubuwana and she is expecting to carry her own baby at last.

Despite rejection by family, friends and neighbours, Nakanda is not bothered one bit in her relationship with the young man.
